I have been told I need to prepare a Mission Statement for this
website. I'm not really sure we need one, but I have an experience that
I would like to share:
Have you ever been to a firearms retailer and saw something that
interested you to the point that you asked someone to show it to you?
The guy behind the counter was busy talking on the phone or something,
and he just handed it to you and proceeded to ignore you. These
people won't bother talking to you unless you made it very clear that
you intended to purchase something from the store, and only then would
they offer to assist you. We have all been to places like this.
I have personally been to many shops that do this to their customers.
We have a name for these types of people that we won't use in this post.
We are different. We know what it's like to be on the customer
side of the counter, and we want you to feel comfortable. We are
here to answer your questions; not to ignore you. Sometimes that
means that you may have to wait a couple of minutes before being helped,
but we will give you the same attention and courtesy that everyone else
receives. We will provide you with the information you need to
make an informed purchase, and we will never make you feel
uncomfortable. You will enjoy your experience in the shop, and we
look forward to sharing our expertise with you.
Well, that is our reason for existence, which technically qualifies
it as our Mission Statement. Now the corporate guys are happy.
